He’s always been an avid supporter of President Barack Obama, and earlier today (August 27) George Clooney showed up at a fundraiser for his re-election campaign.
The “Ocean’s Eleven” star looked handsome as he posed for the press in Geneva, Switzerland along with Democrats Abroad group co-president Charles Adams.
Tonight’s fundraiser will begin with a champagne reception for folks who donate $1000 toward Obama’s campaign, and will continue with a $20,000-per-person dinner banquet.
An event insider told press, "We're being outspent and outraised [by Romney’s campaign]. It's everyone to their battle stations, we've got to keep the playing field as level as possible. Clooney has made himself available to an extent above and beyond the call of duty."
