Back for another dose of Summer Games excitement, Prince William and Kate Middleton grabbed up prime seats at London's Olympic Stadium to watch the Athletics competitors face off against one another on Saturday (August 4).
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined alongside Prime Minister David Cameron for the Day 8 Track & Field festivities, with both Will and Kate enthusiastically cheering for their kingdom's gold medal hopefuls.
The weekend outing comes after the royal couple made numerous appearances as spectators of the 2012 Olympic Games swimmers, cyclists and hockey players the previous day.
Offering up a light-hearted interview with the BBC amidst his packed schedule, a PDA-shy Prince William revealed his fear of having the Kiss Cam hone in on himself and his lovely bride.
“I was absolutely dreading they were going to come and show myself and my wife and that would have been very embarrassing,” the heir to the British throne confessed.
Also commenting on how thrilling it was to watch Scottish cyclist Sir Chris Hoy garner a world record in the men’s team sprint. William enthused, “That was absolutely fantastic, the world records being beaten, and the atmosphere in there was electric."
