Jonas Brothers Give Hollywood Records The Axe

Sharing some quality brotherly bonding time, Joe and Kevin Jonas were spotted grabbing lunch with a friend at Pastis Restaurant in New York City on Tuesday (May 1).

The "Camp Rock" studs looked stylish on their Big Apple afternoon out with future reality TV star Kevin sporting a green long sleeve shirt, jeans and boots while his 23-year-old sibling opted for an all-black ensemble accessorized with sneakers and a fedora hat.

The lunch outing comes just after news broke that the pop trio have officially called it quits with their first record label, Disney-owned Hollywood records.

According to a report put out by E! News, the split was amicable for both parties and the label released a statement expressing their feelings, which read: "Hollywood Records and Jonas Brothers have amicably ended an amazingly successful partnership after six years. We couldn't have asked for better partners or nicer people to work with. We wish Nick, Kevin and Joe all the best in their future endeavors."

The pop-star brothers bought back the rights to all of their master recordings, merchandising and publishing for an undisclosed price tag and are looking forward to the endless amount of opportunities ahead of them.

Nick also expressed the gratitude on behalf of himself and his brothers, saying, "This was a decision that we made as a group. Naturally, as with any partnership, when you do part ways, there is emotion tied to it. We've been blessed to have a lot of success with Hollywood and with Disney, but speaking on behalf of my brothers and our team, we're all looking forward to this next chapter. We're ready for that next step as a group, and being able to take our work with us was so important."
